I’m Rob Clark, been with Combat Fuel and Alex since 2019 when I left the British Army and became a Reservist. Infantry through and through. At the same time I started competing with the Army Powerlifting Union, representing the Army in the Men’s team in the 2021 UKAF (United Kingdom Armed Forces) Powerlifting Championships. After this I progressed into the British Powerlifting Union, winning the ABPU World Championships in the USA in 2023. Throughout these competitive years I’ve relied upon Combat Fuel’s supplements, where especially recovery has been essential to my performance as a competing athlete. From Creatine to pre-workout, to EAA+ to Zinc and Magnesium to help with sleep, I’ve not once failed a military CDT with these products!
Outside military life and powerlifting I’m a defence and foreign policy consultant, often advising the government on matters of national security. This resulted in me being sanctioned by the Russian government in 2023 by Putin himself – so fearful of Combat Fuel athletes. This doesn’t stop me regularly visiting Ukraine or gobbing off on Sky News about how redundant Informed Sports are.
