Bought at an in person event. I got the cola cubes one. While it isn’t my favourite flavour, the powder itself is good. Initially it was a little powdery and I was worried but it quickly dissolved and was totally fine. Think I will have to try the samples of the other flavours. They weren’t wrong in saying they taste like cola bottles so if that’s what you’re into then go for it. As much as I like cola bottles, maybe not for me in drink form. BUT flavour qualms aside, I can see why this is popular. I have only started trying it so cannot comment on any physical benefits just yet

I usually buy the effervescent Sports tablets from the supermarket, but received a tub of this in a mystery bundle a while back. Whilst this does work out more expensive per serving, you feel like an absolute boss throwing it into a shaker with some creatine every morning. Flavours on offer are great – my current favourite is Mango Dragonfruit.

I have used a few similar hydration supplements and this is easily the best one. It mixes great and stays doesn’t change the consistency of water that some do, and make it like syrup. It also tastes great, I had the mango dragonfruit flavour, and also a sample of strawberry lime and both were really nice. I highly recommend this to anyone and will definitely be trying other Combat Fuel products.

I’m 55 years old; been training naturally for as long as I can remember, 4 days a week. I’m nothing special, but have always trained at 5.30am – just because that fits in with my life and for no other ‘macho’ reason. I used to always drink around 500ml of water upon waking as I read you should always hydrate after sleeping. Tried this last week, and it really does make a difference – I can really feel it working – perhaps more so as its on an empty stomach – who knows, but it does. It’s actually cheaper than buying coconut water for the month (something that also works well) and uses less packaging obviously. After waking and consuming straight away; just before starting to train (20mins later) I have an expresso coffee, and during training I use CF Cyclic Dextrin – also another great product. Would definitely recommend.

I use hydration/electrolytes daily first thing for maintenance and during training or work , but finding a product that actually does the job and doesn’t just load you with purely sodium is minefield, I thought I’d give this a run, putting it against a brand I use and trust.
First flavour – Normally I find that the flavours taste very synthetic or not what they are marketed as.
I ordered both flavours on the pre release, strawberry & lime is the one! It’s really easy to drink and so refreshing! Especially when made with cold water!
I loose loads of salts when I train as well as at work, often exposed to high temperatures from both PPE and fire, often after taking of fire kit you can visibly see the salt marks on my working rig.
For me preventing cramps and headaches are the goal as well as not ending up in shit state, so far this it’s ticking all the boxes, the true test with be in the summer months. I look forward to putting to the real test.
Bottom line great tasting, easy mixing with minimal debris left at the bottom of the bottle (I use a standard 500ml water bottle not shaker and it dissolves perfectly) this keeps me in the game.
